Lip Service: What next for Cat, Frankie, Tess and Sam?

Lip Service cast

BBC Three's seductive lesbian drama, Lip Service, will soon be back on your small screen.

Writer and creator Harriet Braun is currently busy dreaming up what can happen to the chief characters, including the very lovely DS Sam Murray [Heather Peace].

"I’ve got some great twists, turns and surprises up my sleeve for series two,” she said.

But while she’s busy writing, why not drop us an email at tickledpink@profilecommunication.com and tell us what you think might happen to Cat, Frankie, Sam and Tess? Some already have, so what are you waiting for?

Lip Service, as you will all know, focuses on the sex lives and loves of a group of twenty-something lesbians living in Glasgow.

Heat magazine described the first series as classier, funnier and sexier than The L-Word.

Here's what others think....

Sam gets beaten up and Frankie comes to rescue. The big question is: how will Sam repay her? Could be fun.
Samantha Snares

Cat’s a bit of a ditherer so I expect she won’t be able to make up her mind, whether to go for safe Sam or Frankie.. Her world, though, will come tumbling down when Sam arrests Frankie during a drugs raid. During questioning, Frankie will blame her problems on the fact that she still loves Cat – and that Cat loves her. Sam will confront Cat when she gets home and everything will come out. Cat will spend the rest of the series trying to win Sam back…

Cat tries to put her past behind her and starts to enjoy her life with Sam. Frankie remains in the background, has seemingly moved on, and occasionally sees Sam and Cat on the odd night out. All is well. During one particular drunken night out, Cat has to leave early because her brother's broken up with his new girlfriend.  She leaves Frankie and Sam alone. Frankie, who is still secretly in love with Cat, makes a play for Sam. The two of them end up doing something they shouldn't. Sam is mortified. Frankie tells Cat ...

WHAT YOU THINK OF US

I just happened to come across your site and it looks great. I am a make-up artist based in Cornwall and I have done a few lesbian weddings over the past couple of years and what surprises me is that they phone up and are worried that I may take offence that they are gay. It must be horrible to feel in that position so to have a magazine featuring people who are happy to make their day special is such a fantastic idea.

Just a quick email to thank you for my copy of the new magazine and to say how pleased I am to be part of it – I’m really impressed!  I love the tone of the editorial which has managed  to be informative without being patronising – a rarity in the world of wedding journalism, I find! Wishing you every success with the South West edition of Tickled Pink.
