Exclusive Winter Wedding at The Glasshouse for just £1,500 The Glasshouse at Combermere Abbey is one of the most exclusive country wedding venues in the North West. This winter you can enjoy an intimate and exclusive wedding at this stunning and romantic venue, and save £££s, with venue hire at a tremendously low £1,500.*
The Glasshouse attracts bridal couples from near and far, seeking somewhere unique and wildly romantic to celebrate their nuptials.
With glass walls and ceiling, The Glasshouse has 180° views over the estate’s glorious walled gardens – across the unique espaliered fruit tree maze.
It is ideal for more intimate celebrations, accommodating up to 60 guests for a combined ceremony and wedding breakfast.
The venue hire rate includes existing floral arrangements, chairs, tables, cloakroom and kitchen facilities, music system and car parking, as well as a dedicated front of house manager on the day of your wedding.
We have a preferred catering supplier, Sue-Le-Bonne, who has a range of delicious menu options from hot and cold buffets, English afternoon tea to multi-course weddings breakfasts, complemented by bar and wine services from Gorillas Bars, offering a sleek and sophisticated range of drinks options, including cocktails mixed with fruit juices from the Abbey’s fruit tree maze.
One significant aspect of this venue is that each wedding enjoys exclusive use for the whole day.
At other times of year our new ‘Walled Garden Pavilion’ is available to hire alongside The Glasshouse and accommodate weddings for up to 150 guests.
Accommodation for wedding parties is available in the estate’s award-winning cottages, which are situated in the Abbey’s converted stables, as well as Stone Lodge, a romantic Gothick cottage, ideal for the couple’s first night.
* Valid for weddings in January and February 2011 only, on any day of the week; normal rate £2,500. | Follow Our Recent Tweets
London Launch GalleryWHAT YOU THINK OF US
I just happened to come across your site and it looks great.
I am a make-up artist based in Cornwall
and I have done a few lesbian weddings over the past couple of years and what
surprises me is that they phone up and are worried that I may take offence that
they are gay. It must be horrible to feel in that position so to have a
magazine featuring people who are happy to make their day special is such a
fantastic idea.
- Sally Orchard Just a quick email to thank you for my copy of the new
magazine and to say how pleased I am to be part of it – I’m really impressed! I
love the tone of the editorial which has managed to be informative without
being patronising – a rarity in the world of wedding journalism, I
find! Wishing you every success with the South West edition of Tickled Pink.
Alison Miles - Alison Miles Couture, Bath, Somerset Congratulations to all of you on a great magazine. I hope it is really successful. We photograph our first civil partnership in November. We cannot wait.
- Diana & Dave, David Golding Wedding Photography, Buxton
Just been made aware of your fantastic website and magazine. This is a fabulous resource and I'm really pleased to see an innovative magazine specifically catering for gay couples.
- Belinda, Wonderland Tea Parties
We think it's great news that there will finally be a magazine dedicated to the gay wedding community. We wish you all the best for the magazine.
